Myofascial Release Workshop with Diane Malaspina Wednesday, November 20, 2019 (6pm - 8pm)

Unravel tension from your toes to your ears using myofascial release balls. We'll track connective tissue lines and meridians to access greater mobility in areas that feel stuck from habitual movement and posture. Unwind and release muscle trigger points and fascial adhesions to experience profound freedom in your body as well as increased ease in your yoga practice and beyond.  The result is an enhanced capacity to release tension, ultimately where no ordinary yoga practice will take you – deep into your fascial layer. This self-massage technique is great as a supplement to yoga and for athletes and those recovering from injury. 

Diane Malaspina (Ph.D.) is an experienced, 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (e-RYT 500), an Applied Psychologist, and a Senior Teacher for international yoga training program, Yoga Medicine©. Combining yoga tradition and modern science, she teaches evidenced-based methods for healing, stress prevention, and sustainable well-being through yoga sessions, workshops, and teacher trainings - both locally and across the globe.
