Equestrian and yoga teacher, Sierra Hill, will be hosting a workshop catered explicitly to riders. Being much more than your average yoga class, this two hour workshop will allow us time to discuss the anatomy used while riding. From there we will build our yoga class, focusing on these specific muscle groups to allow you the most beneficial use of your practice and your time.
You will receive 4 fully illustrated handouts of yoga sequences to do before, during, and after your ride as well as balancing and core strengthening poses that will help cultivate stability in the saddle. We will also discuss in both the workshop and your handouts, specific breathing exercise that can give you control over your body to calm you down before a show, warm you up on a chilly trail ride, or wake you up for an early morning at the barn. The last half hour of the workshop will be an open floor to allow time for addressing any of your questions, comments, or concerns you may have so you leave fully comfortable with your practice.
